The Department of Defense Dependents Schools provide a high-quality education to children of the US Armed Forces and civilian personnel stationed in Japan. DoDDS students are provided with a comprehensive curriculum that is competitive with any school system in the United States.

In addition to the core educational programs, DoDDS Pacific provides additional special programs. The career clusters that are offered in the high schools contain different areas of concentration, or career pathways. While different schools offer different courses of study, every high school offers a range of career pathways within the career cluster system.
